We Pride Ourselves on High-Quality Vinyl Fencing Backed by High-Quality Coverage

Every fence we install across the Fraser Valley and Lower Mainland, from Chilliwack to Langley to Surrey, is backed by two separate warranties: a 5-year workmanship warranty on our installation and a 30-year product warranty on the vinyl itself. We think you should know exactly what each one covers before you ever need to use it, not just when something goes wrong. Below is the coverage in plain terms, what can affect it, and how to reach us if you ever need to file a claim.

5-year Workmanship Warranty

Our 5-year workmanship warranty covers our installation, not just the materials. If a post starts to lean, a rail comes loose, or a panel wasn’t set the way it should have been, that falls on us. We will come back out, diagnose what happened, and repair or replace the affected section at no cost to you within three years of your installation date. This is the part of the warranty we control directly, since we do our own installs rather than subcontracting them out, so if there’s ever an issue with our workmanship, you’re dealing with the same team that built your fence in the first place.

30-Year Manufacturer Warranty

Our 30-year product warranty is provided by the manufacturer and covers the vinyl itself against significant material defects such as cracking, peeling, pitting, or severe fading under normal use. This is what protects your investment long after your fence is installed and gives you decades of confidence that the panels won’t fail on their own. It does not cover minor cosmetic issues or damage caused by something outside normal use, which we cover in more detail below. If you ever have a question about whether an issue on your fence falls under this coverage, call us first. We can usually tell you over the phone whether it’s a manufacturer matter or something we should look at ourselves.

What Can Affect Your Warranty Coverage

Most vinyl fence warranty disputes come down to a handful of avoidable issues, so it’s worth knowing them upfront:

  • Alterations to the fence. Cutting panels or posts, drilling into them, or painting the vinyl after installation can void manufacturer coverage, since the product is no longer in its original state.
  • Harsh cleaning products. Bleach, solvents, and abrasive cleaners can damage the surface finish. Warm water and mild soap are all a vinyl fence needs.
  • Damage from outside forces. Falling branches, vehicle impact, or extreme weather events are generally treated as incidental damage rather than a product defect, which is a fair distinction given how much our winters and windstorms vary from Hope to the coast.
  • Normal wear and neglect. A warranty covers defects, not the natural effects of time, so a fence that’s never been rinsed off or checked for loose hardware may show issues that aren’t a manufacturing problem.
  • Missed registration windows. Some manufacturer warranties ask that the product be registered within a set period after installation. We handle this step for our customers as part of the installation process, so you don’t have to track it yourself.

None of this is meant to make the warranty sound fragile. It holds up well under normal residential and commercial use. It’s just worth knowing what “normal use” actually means before you assume every issue is automatically covered.
